Long-term effects

The development costs will make a wide range of people aware of the group's artistic skills and how they can be applied to modern day applications and even the re-emergence of cottage industries in the area. Provide further employment opportunities both for members and people within the Bells Farm neighbourhood. Enable the group to establish Bells Farm Centre as an accredited NVQ test centre in a range of arts/crafts disciplines.

Artist work in schools will encourage creativity and cross curriculum-learning opportunities for young people using an imaginative historical theme. Teacher and leader training will demonstrate the use of arts/crafts in a historical context.

Public exhibitions will educate and entertain visitors, encourage participation in arts and crafts and publicise group activities and training courses.
